Accreditation

"Accreditation" is a word you should familiarize yourself with. It means that a school, college, vocational school or institution has met accepted standards of providing quality education.

Accreditation addresses four main areas:

  • The educational quality of an institution
  • Assures an institution’s operations are consistent
  • Promotes improvement in institutional objectives
  • Provides for public accountability

An accredited learning institution means that the school must employ a professional staff, has sufficient equipment and facilities, and meets standard educational criteria.

WyoTech undergoes periodic accrediting evaluations by teams of qualified examiners, including subject experts and specialists in occupational education and private school administration.
